fiona last nite

i just want to say that seeing fiona apple last nite solidified my life. she is beautiful, amazing and gorgeous and has the most commanding presence i have ever witnessed. her eyes are so piercing and will suck you in.
it was an emotional experience. it made me uncomfortable and nervous and i kept thinking she was going to breakdown on stage. she would pace between musical breaks, and like fall down like she was crying, and punch the air, and kick. her voice is amazing and heartbreaking and sounds even better live than on the albums. seeing her sing "i know" was heartbreakingly gorgeous - i will never listen to the song again withough thinking of it.
i was 3rd row and it was so awesome. i was really suprised at the turnout of people - especially the amount of men there. alot of them were really into it too, which was pretty amazing. the end of the show was so fun because everyone on my side moved up and was dancing while she sang "fast as you can" and "extraordinary machine" and she was so damn cute. i wanted to put her in my pocket and take her home. she is so tiny!
before she sang "used t love him" she gave this great speech about how people tend to stay in "99% shitty" relationships until they make sure they are 100% shitty. i wish i could remember exactly what she said, it was great.
"parting gift," "paperbag," "limp" and "get gone" were other highlights. i wish she would have done "never is a promise" but i probably would have had an emotional breakdown as well so maybe we're better off. i am so glad i went. it really changed my life. everyone worship fiona now.
